Cognosystemic Theory of Human Psychosocial Relational Construction TCCR: A unified theoretical proposal for Social Work
The Cognosystemic Theory of Human Psychosocial Relational Construction (TCCR) offers a new way of understanding how individuals and societies construct reality through narratives, emotions, meanings, and relationships that interact across multiple levels. Through the concept of the Cognosystem, the book connects individual experience with family, community, organizational, and sociocultural dynamics, examining how narratives are maintained, enter into crisis, and transform.
Published in 2025, this book is the inaugural work of TCCR and presents both its original foundations and the theorization methodology used in its development. Created within Social Work and in dialogue with different traditions in the social sciences, TCCR invites readers to reconsider the construction of psychosocial reality and opens a research program devoted to understanding and supporting processes of human and social change.
